This is one of the best parts of our job! It’s so much fun and we love it when couples include a photo booth at their reception!
This beautiful southern lady wanted to find the perfect venue for bridal portraits. Thankfully, we found the perfect location just minutes from where she grew up in Denver, NC (just outside of Charlotte). Vesuvius Vineyards is a gorgeous venue for weddings, bridal portraits, and engagements. My favorite place is the huge front porch with tall white columns.
This was one amazing 1 Year session. Mom had everything planned out to coordinate with Ellie’s first birthday party.
Pink + yellow. Lemonade stand. “Up” theme. Cake smash. Bath in a steel tub.
Needless to say, we all had a blast, especially Ellie. <3 We were so thankful to once again be involved in capturing this family’s precious moments.
Amazing. Fun. Beautiful. Those three words are the perfect description for this bride, this groom, and their phenomenal wedding.

Hamilton and Matt met 11 years ago in college at UNC-Wilmington. When Hamilton contacted us about their engagement session she asked if we would be willing to go to Wilmington for a weekend to do their engagement photos. And I am so, so glad she asked! It was an amazing weekend with beautiful weather (but COLD water!!). It was the perfect place to start documenting their marriage commitment. <3
When we met Meghan and Jason about a year ago, we knew their wedding would be all about love, family, and friends. They are both “real” people, down-to-earth, and didn’t get caught up and overwhelmed by the intricacies of wedding planning. They wanted to celebrate the beginning of their life together with a big party – and the Big Chill was the perfect venue for it – I’ve never seen so many guests dancing their feet off!

I’ve known Jessica since high school and recently got back in touch with her through work. Jessica and Ryan really wanted to do an outdoor session, and thankfully we had some really mild December weather! My absolute favorite from the session is the first one you see here – such a beautiful momma. <3
